Football Banquet

Tyson had his final football banquet last night. It was amazing. We designed T-shirts that the kids can keep for the rest of their lives. Here are some pictures. They asked each kid to stand and share the one thing they learned this year and their favorite moment of the year (excluding the championship game). Tyson shared how by making weight this year he did not have to play offensive or defensive line. He loved learning new positions such as Tightend and Linebacker. And of course his favorite moment was his diving touchdown catch against Alta for the win! Each coach shared a few thoughts of each player. When it was Tyson's turn the head coach shared how proud he was of Tyson for his hard work learning new positions. Then before Tyson sat down Coach Gaylen stopped him and said "I must share one thing about this young man." He continued by saying how impressed he was that after every practice and game Tyson took the time to shake hands of all the coaches and thank them for their help. "He is a true gentleman." Coach even got a little choked up and then he thanked Heidi and me for instilling that in him. What a proud moment. BENGALS ARE #1
